GIANNA'S BEDROOM

Gianna's room:<br>light and nature...

Gianna’s room is located on the first floor of the villa. It faces south. As a result, it is bathed in light all year round. What’s more, it offers a direct view of the Villa’s swimming pool, as well as of the tall trees that stretch their branches almost to the top. In short… Light and greenery…

Like all the other rooms, like Le Perchoir upstairs, it is air-conditioned for perfect comfort in all seasons. We’ve also added mosquito nets to both windows. As summer nights are often delightfully cool at the foot of the Sainte Baume, you’ll be able to enjoy them in complete peace and quiet, even with the windows open.

Smartphones and tablets will of course have wi-fi access, as they do throughout the villa. You can even recharge them using the usb ports integrated into the sockets.

Villa Handrès has a total of four bedrooms that can accommodate up to eight people. Each room can be equipped with either a double bed or two single beds. Just let us know what suits you best when you make your reservation. The Petite Chambre, the Chambre de Gianna and the Grande Chambre are on the first floor of the Villa.

But, by the way…

Yes, by the way? Why is it called Gianna’s Room? It’s almost a secret… A hint? Well, maybe it was once the bedroom of the woman who brought the Villa Handrès back to life and who still looks after it today…. But shhhh. It’s almost a secret, we tell you.

We can’t get enough of it!

It’s true! And that’s no secret at all: that’s what all our visitors tell us! It has to be said that this is a room with a lot going for it…

Perfect for children, teenagers or adults. Available with 2 single beds or 1 double bed.

But it’s also very pleasant, because it’s the one that perhaps best embodies the Provencal art of living. To the south, to welcome the light and the sun. Because in Provence, the sun is everywhere. But also in the shade, protected by its shutters. And by the tall trees not far away. Perfect for that sacrosanct siesta in the hottest hours of the day…

In fact, those of our visitors who have the pleasure of indulging in this veritable art of siesta very often turn off the air-conditioning, even in summer. Just to enjoy the gentle breeze that often slips through the bedroom windows. All the while, the song of the cicadas lulls you to sleep…
